Explore Geneva helps you discover the best places in the city through a simple swipe interface. Browse through curated locations, save your favorites, read fascinating stories, and use the map to plan your exploration.

No! Explore Geneva works completely offline and doesn't require any account. All your favorites and visited places are stored securely on your device.

Places are organized into three tiers:

⭐ Must-sees – Iconic landmarks every visitor should experience
💎 Discoveries – Hidden gems to enrich your visit
🔮 Hidden Treasures – Secret spots for curious explorers

On the Discover screen, swipe right on a place card or tap the heart icon to save it to your favorites. Swipe left or tap X to pass on a place.

Tap on any place card to open its detail view. Scroll down to find the "Stories" section with fascinating anecdotes, historical facts, and legends about the location.

Yes! Tap the filter icon on the Discover screen to filter by categories like History, Nature, Culture, Gastronomy, and more. You can also filter by discovery tier.

The app will suggest exploring a different tier or category. You can also reset your passed places in the settings to see them again.

Go to the "My Map" tab to see all your favorite places displayed on an interactive map. You can switch between map view and list view using the toggle button.

Enable location tracking in the app to receive notifications when you're within 100 meters of a saved place. You can turn this feature on/off from the Map screen.

Open a place from your map or favorites, then tap the "Mark as Visited" button. Visited places will be tracked in your statistics.

Go to Profile → Settings and select your preferred language (French or English). The app will immediately switch to your chosen language.

Go to Profile → Settings to find options to reset your passed places, favorites, or visited places. You can also clear all data at once.

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app or change phones, your favorites and progress will be lost. A backup feature may be added in a future update.

Go to Profile → About → Image Credits to see the sources and licenses for all images used in the app.
